We know planning an event comes with a lot of questions. So here are some quick answers to help you get started. If you don’t see your question listed, we’re always happy to chat or schedule a private tour.

What types of events do you host?

  • Hidden Gem Events hosts weddings, elopements, micro-weddings, receptions, bridal showers, birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations of life, corporate gatherings, and more. Our spaces are flexible and can be customized for your vision.

What are your pricing and packages?

  • We offer several event packages ranging from intimate micro-weddings to full-day venue rentals. Packages typically include access to the property, tables and chairs, use of indoor and outdoor spaces, and time for setup and cleanup.

  • Pricing varies by season and day of the week. Please reach out for our current rate sheet or to design a custom package that fits your event.

How long do we have access to the venue?

  • Most packages include 4, 6 and 12 hours of access, with additional hours available upon request. Setup and takedown times are included in your rental period.

Can we bring our own food or alcohol?

  • Outside catering is welcome! We work with a list of preferred local vendors but are open to your selections with proof of insurance.

  • Alcohol may be served by a licensed and insured bartender. No self-service or BYOB events are permitted per State regulations.

What is or isn’t allowed?

We want you to celebrate freely, but here are a few guidelines to keep everyone safe and the property beautiful:

  • No open flames (candles must be enclosed).

  • No glitter, confetti, or fake flower petals outdoors.

  • Amplified music must end by 10:00 PM per Meridian city ordinance.

  • Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas.

  • Pets are welcome for ceremonies and photos (with approval).

What’s included with my rental?

Each rental includes:

  • Indoor and outdoor options

  • Tables and chairs

  • Access to the main house and garden spaces

  • Restroom access

Can we decorate the venue?

  • Absolutely! We encourage creative setups and décor that complement the home’s historic charm. We just ask that nothing is nailed, stapled, or taped to painted surfaces.

Hidden Gem Events is located at 134 E State Ave, Meridian, Idaho, inside the lovingly restored 1907 Tolleth House — just steps from downtown restaurants, coffee shops, and hotels.
